Fluids and electrolytes
Water with electrolytes such as sodium, potassium and magnesium.
An IV delivers selected vitamins, minerals, electrolytes and fluids directly into your bloodstream. Which nutrients, and whether an IV makes sense for you at all, depends on your health history.

IV vitamin therapy starts with a first visit with Dr. Graham or Dr. Bell; IV sessions are scheduled after that.
IV therapy starts with a first visit with Dr. Graham or Dr. Bell. Before an infusion, your health history and whether the planned infusion suits you are reviewed.
A small IV catheter is placed in a vein, and the solution is given gradually. During the infusion you can sit comfortably, read, work, listen to music or simply relax.
How long a session takes depends on the formula and the amount of fluid.
Our IV program is offered in collaboration with Cliff (Chin Cheng Tai), APRN, who sees patients at our office in his own independent practice and provides medical screening and oversight.
Food should be the foundation for the nutrients your body needs, with supplements by mouth when they're appropriate.
Nutrients taken by mouth have to pass through the digestive tract before they reach the bloodstream. Digestion, gut health, medications, age, illness and other factors can affect how well they're absorbed.
IV therapy takes a different route. Vitamins, minerals, electrolytes and other nutrients go directly into the bloodstream, so the digestive system is bypassed. That can be another option when extra nutritional or hydration support is appropriate.
Your medical history, medications, allergies, kidney function, heart health, fluid balance and other factors can affect whether IV therapy, or a particular nutrient, is appropriate for you.
Some nutrients and higher-dose formulas need extra lab tests or screening before they're given.
That's one reason our IV services are provided with an experienced APRN and with medical screening and oversight.
We don't believe everyone needs the same IV. The choice of nutrients may take into account your:
With screening and oversight from Cliff (Chin Cheng Tai), IV therapy can be one part of a plan built around you.
Water with electrolytes such as sodium, potassium and magnesium.
Selected vitamins, such as B vitamins and vitamin B12, and minerals.
Nutrients such as vitamin C, zinc and glutathione, when your doctor and the screening say they are appropriate.
Dr. Graham and Dr. Bell see new patients. IV therapy can be one part of a plan you build with them.
IV therapy doesn't replace good nutrition, healthy digestion, enough sleep, movement or appropriate medical care.
It's another way to deliver selected nutrients when your doctor thinks that makes sense. For the right person, it can be one part of a wider health plan.
The goal isn't simply to put nutrients into an IV bag. It's to understand what you need, and whether an IV belongs in your plan.
